Petaluma's Pelican Art Gallery highlights its current "Celebration of Women Art Show" with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The show features photographs by Chris Clark of Santa Rosa, who sang, recorded and wrote songs for Motown Records in the 1960s, and received an Academy Award nomination for her work on the screenplay for the 1972 film "Lady Sings the Blues."
Clark, who took up photography in 1990, will perform at the reception.
The exhibit also features photography by Ahna Hubnik and artwork by Adair Oesterle, Stephen Weiss, Paul Culver, Judith Hutchinson and Patricia Zimmer.
