Pelican Art is an artist owned and operated custom framing studio, with an eye for both design and presentation. Linda Postenrieder, a co-owner, is the only Certified Professional Framer (CPF) in the region. Our designs are unique, yet integrated to your artwork and your style. “Quality Presentation and Preservation” sm is more than just a Service Mark to us: is it how we work.

Your artwork is handled with care and framed with conservation level materials. We use only UV filtering glass or acrylic, acid free or rag matboards, and rag backing boards. Our mounting methods – with just one exception, used for some items as appropriate, and with full discussion with you – are all conservation level. All our conservation framing is done on site.

We do offer a non-conservation presentation method for mounting paper art of sentimental value only at a more economical price: posters and maps and photographs can be permanently adhered to a wooden board and a UV protective laminate applied to the top. This is a great option for some pieces, and we’ll mention it when appropriate.

We have the largest selection of frame mouldings, matboards, enhancers and fillets in the area. We will find the right combination for you. Call us for information, or better yet, bring in your artwork for a design.
