About Pelican Art:

Pelican Art is a woman-owned, veteran-owned business in Petaluma, CA. We're Passionate About Putting Art in Your Life! ^sm and work towards that end by providing many fine art exhibits each year, putting on classes and events, and supporting our community art programs, both in public schools and private studios. We are both artists.

Linda Postenrieder Linda is a painter, using watercolors and acrylics. She has a series of U.S. Naval Academy paintings available for sale as prints and some originals. She also has a series of 'Camillia Air Tart' paintings, once of which is shown to the left. Linda's background includes a B.A. from the U.S. Naval Academy, majoring in Mathematics, with service on board ships as a line officer. She transitioned to a high tech career in the public sector, working for computer firms making artificial intelligence software and real time operating systems, among others. She came to the art world with a passion for creating and supporting art, with as much enthusiam as she brings to each endeavor. She is the only Certified Professional Framer (CPF) in the area.   Donna Hinshaw Donna creates sculptures with clay and makes quilts and fabric art. Donna's background includes a B.A. from Pomona College, majoring in Chemistry, followed by an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Dartmouth College. She worked as a computer consultant, with an 8 year stint for Oracle Corporation as the technical pinnacle. She kept the best of the corporate world within Pelican Art, embracing technology to enhance service, and fostering open communication.
